What is Sanatan?
Sanatan (सनातन) means eternal — that which has no beginning and no end.
Sanatan Dharma is not a religion. It is the eternal order of existence — the cosmic law that governs all life, consciousness, and creation. Rooted in the Vedas, Upanishads, and timeless texts, it offers a complete framework for living in harmony with the universe, the self, and the divine.
Unlike man-made doctrines, Sanatan Dharma was not founded by a single prophet or written in a single era. It emerged from the collective realisation of thousands of Rishis across millennia — sages who perceived cosmic truth through deep meditation and passed it down through oral tradition, eventually crystallised into the world's oldest living body of knowledge.
